Unlike other apps, Above uses the Norwegian Mapping Authoritys terrain model, which provides accurate height data from a grid of 10m x 10m.You can also share your location via SMS, a useful function if you are unsure of where you are or just want to remember the coordinates of a place for later.The background map in Above is a unique combination of the Norwegian Mapping Authoritys topo map and mountain shadows.
